I was so lucky to have a lot of photos with both of my parents growing up, since my dad was also a photographer my mother was always IN the photos with us, (but my mom would grab the camera to take pictures of us with dad, too.) But that’s not the case for every mother. Also being the youngest of 8 and being in so many photos was a miracle in itself!
I actually had a level 10 meltdown when my first baby was 6 months old that my husband hadn’t taken a single photo of me with our baby. While I had a camera roll full of photos of the two of them or selfies. Does this sound familiar? We went out that weekend and Tom took a whole load of photos of Alfie and me (featured above)
I swore from that point on, that I would help other mothers be IN more photos with their sweet little ones. And I have also prioritized having my own family portraits taken by a dear friend!

But not with my approach! The way I structure family photoshoots is relaxed, fun, authentic, and candid with a little bit of direction on where to stand and with some prompts to interact together.

Every session includes an online gallery with over 100 images, plus access to my print shop so you can bring those memories into your home.

Themed: If you love the idea of sunflower fields, pumpkin patches, Christmas tree farms or even something fun and creative like painting together, these themed shoots are a lovely option to make your photos feel extra special. Since most of these locations charge an entry fee, I now offer them separately. You can add one to your Classic session for £90.
Video Clips: £150
Capture 3–5 little moments from your session in short, edited clips. Perfect for sharing or keeping as a moving memory of your family.
Polaroid Keepsakes: £50

Newborn & Maternity Photography in Suffolk & Cambridgeshire – Timeless, Candid Sessions for New Parents
Are you expecting a baby?
Are you looking for a calm, experienced photographer to document these milestones?
You’ve come to the right place! I have over 10 years of experience with newborns.
I use a lifestyle approach which means no studios, no forced poses, just relaxed, cozy photos of you and your family.
If you’re in the suffolk and Cambridgeshire area and are looking for a photographer, let’s book in your session!
Maternity or Newborn — £300 each
These sessions are perfect for celebrating the glow of pregnancy or the arrival of your new baby. They last between 60 and 90 minutes and include a gallery of 100+ images for you to treasure.
Bundle Both — £550
If you’d like to book both maternity and newborn at the same time, you can save by bundling them together. You’ll receive the full experience for both sessions, and over 100 images from each to hold onto forever.
Studio Newborn Session at Studio Snap In Cambridge - £350
If you desire a studio session, I can hire a 2 hour block at Studio Snap in Cambridge. This session lasts 90 minutes and include a gallery of 100+ images for you to treasure.

Frequently Asked Questions
What should we wear for our family photos?
I always suggest choosing outfits that feel comfortable and reflect your style. Soft, neutral tones photograph beautifully outdoors, but the most important thing is that you feel like you. Once you’ve booked, I’ll share a styling guide to help you pull everything together.
How long will our session last?
Classic sessions are around 60 minutes, and Full Experience sessions are closer to 90 minutes. Maternity and newborn sessions also run between 60–90 minutes, giving us plenty of time for breaks, cuddles, and little pauses.
What if my children don’t behave or sit still?
Please don’t worry at all. My sessions are designed to be relaxed and playful, with no pressure for perfect posing. I’ll gently guide your family and let the little ones be themselves. Often the in-between moments are the ones you’ll love the most.
How many photos will we get?
Every session includes a private online gallery with at least 100 edited images. You’ll also have the option to purchase prints and products through my print shop.
When will we receive our photos?
You’ll receive your online gallery within 3–4 weeks of your session. I carefully edit every image to make sure they look their very best before sharing them with you.
Do you travel outside Suffolk?
Yes, I often work across Cambridgeshire and Norfolk counties. If you’d like me to travel further, just let me know when you enquire and we can chat about the details. If you'd like a destination family session in a special location like the cotswolds, or Peak District, I charge a travel fee of £0.50 per mile after 50 miles outside of Bury St Edmunds, and a flat £100 overnight fee for anything further than 3 hours
What if the weather is bad?
The great British weather is unpredictable, but don’t worry—we can reschedule if it’s pouring. Sometimes a bit of cloud or drizzle actually adds mood and magic to the photos! I always keep an eye on the weather the week of your session and if it looks like we will be rained out I am happy to offer alternate dates within 2 weeks of your original session.
